Mix It Up Challenge     ----what is it????-----

It's the title of a FUN thread on SCS, initiated by  Lisa (Ashdale on SCS), where partecipants take part to a weekly challenge----->every Sunday<----
There are no winners or losers but there is for sure a LOT of chatter and FUN gUrlZ too! LOL
Each partecipant can 'play' at being the hostess  of the week, and put their own spin on the challenges ,therefore it's a surprise every week!!! How fun is that????? Cool eh!? :o)

This week hostess is Donna (aka SCS: Donnaml)
...and this, in her own words, is what she challenged us with:

"....Your challenge is to make a one layer CAS card. This means your cardbase ONLY. You may choose any color cardstock you want but....absolutely no other layers. No 3D, No Butterflies, No ribbon, No nothing. Also, you may use only 2 colors of ink on your card with no coloring with copics, colored pencils or any other coloring medium.
So basically, you can only use stamps. And only 2 colors of ink on it. Got it?....."

OH MAN DONNA!!!.....really?? NO blings , just plain NOTHING?! :o(
well...BRING IT ON.......I ♥ challenges!! ♥...eheheheh :o)

Second Set of cards:
Stamps: Busy Blocks (lrg wheel); Fresh Cuts; 'Just Because' sentiment by: Paper Salon
Ink: Night of Navy; Sahara Sands
(alternated w/ Marvelous Magents on second card of same set)

Third Set of cards :
Stamps : Sweetheart Candy II; Seasons of Friendship; Wonderful Words II
Ink: Close to Cocoa ; Positively Pink

Fourth Set of cards :
Stamps : Easy Elegance ; Bliss ; Inspired by Nature
Ink: Almost Amethyst; Kiwii Kiss

Last  Set of cards:
Stamps : Dream Gardens ; 'Konnichiwa' sentiment from Hanna Stamps
Ink : Cranberry Crisp ; River rock

Well my friends,....those are all the cards  I came up with tonight....what do YOU think of the outcome??
I kept the base of each card all in white this time around,  for a cool, clean & pristine look :o)
Thanks for visiting! Please leave a comment and come back again, soon  :o)

Lots of variety with the limitations of the challenge! Well done. This was how I first started card making, oh so many years ago! Nice to see it again.
