APRIL *D*D*D*

*Click on any card if U wish to enlarge*
Woot ,woottt...ya all know what day it is, right?? It's the 15th of the month, the usual 'blog-get-together'
of the triple *D*'s (Dueling Darling Dazzlers/or Divas)

See here for details,if you are a new follower and have no idea what I am talking about...LOL *wink* http://paola-sama.blogspot.com/2010/10/its-duelling-darlings-timeo.html

The darling hostesses for this first month are Melina (for the Dazzlers) and Joan (for the Divas)
Together they set up this month's wonderful theme: "Movie Night".....~~~Fun,fun, fun!!~~~
Melina sent us Dazzlers a great kit full of goodies that reflect the movie 'Toy Story'
Included was: Woody and Buzz Lightyear images from EK success, d/p from DCWV (stars) and from CM
(toy story paper),1 embossed (w/spots and dots folder) choc. chip top note, twine, star buttons and silver brads. Thanks Melina!! *muwahhhhh* :o)

Have to admit that I was stumped for a while and had no ideas how to make my card  a decent representative for such fun theme and then, one evening as I kept staring at all that the kit contained , it just came to me.
What you see is the result... Do YOU think this Sheriff Woody made the 'cut'??   :o)
Truly FUN to make...yeah!  *wink & smile*

Oh my goodness... how creative, Sweet P! I love the way you separated the top note... to me it makes it look like Woody is stepping through the curtains on a stage! Awesome movie night inside, too!!! Wow! Your cards are always fantastic!!! You dazzle me!!!

Hello Paola, i am not a big disney fan but your card is fabulous. I like the matching DP and it looks like that Woody running through a gate. Hugs to you !!

Oh Sweet P, what a great card. I love what you did with the top note die. I was trying to come up with something and just drew a blank...you had the perfect idea!!! It looks like Woody is coming right through the doors to save the day!!! Outstanding coloring of the image. You are a creative star!!!

YeeHaw! Wow! You really rocked this challenge, Sweet P! Love how you used the elements from this terrific, fun card kit. You amaze me with your creativity!! I'm especially blown away by how you used the top note die to create a door like in an old western saloon with Woody running through. And I love How you used rough thread/yarn to edge the die! So many great elements in this card...Just awesome!!!

Wow! How great the way you cut the Top Note to make it like Wild West swinging saloon doors!! You are so very clever!! The inside is a treat as well. Great creation, as usual Sweet P!

What a fun card Sweet P....first thing I thought of was Woody charging through the saloon doors but then when you mentioned wild west in your post...the brown (doors) change to chaps, then to a vest with the sheriffs stars on...oh how my mind wanders...and it had a fun leader in this card. lol....You did an amazing job my friend....woohoo....♥♥♥

Sama,
I love the card, especially cutting the topnote in 1/2 and it seems as if he's running toward fun. I love what you did with the card.
